August is going to be a busy month for me

I always enjoy taking part in traditional events and fairs as I get to meet many people who wouldn’t normally attend a art exhibition however I am often  to busy this year I have set set aside the time to take part in  two traditional events the first is  on the 14th of August the second in later in the year in October.

I am also involved in the Hampshire Open Art Studios once again and I am again showing work at two venues

I was so pleased to have been invited to join the  Art In the Gardens event this years at Little Forest Land Art, North Boarhunt, Hampshire. the land art show is open from the 12th to the 26th June.

It  is such a  amazing place to visit  and  is free to attend., several of my sculptures will be on show and I will be there on a few days creating with the materials on site  http://www.littleforestlandart.co.uk/

Southern Nature Art Show – online exhibition

News -2018

I’ve been busy during the last year creating a range of  sculptural works and artwork which were exhibited in a variety of shows

My willow chestnut sculpture was selected to go in the  Southampton Art Gallery Four Seasons Exhibition which was on show from February to April.

In early summer my  small studio/ shed  where I create my willow sculptures were completed in my garden

and the Keepers Artist Collective www.thekeepersartists.org.uk 

found a new home in East Street in Southampton so after the frustrating start to the new year I had now some space to paint  in.

I showed a selection of my willow sculptures and artworks at  two venue in Southampton as part of the  Hampshire Open Artist Studios , various craft and garden shows in Hampshire.

The visitors to the the Bursledon Art Society show in November voted my willow penguin as favourite 3d  exhibit which was lovely.

And the Keepers Artist Collective held their first art show downstairs at the studio space at the beginning of December.

The past year has been an interesting time I have needed to divide much of my energies between teaching willow sculpture and demonstrating and finding time to create and show my own work.  I am looking forward to the next year and new possibilities.
